Visitors interested in learning more about the animation and computer imaging process should check out this great free software. The site includes a Magazine, PDFs and instructions on the subject. See how the pros do it.

This page is a collection point for various beginner level animation renderings and basic building blocks to see how the 3D images upload, appear and behave in the HTML page environment.

Cubes, Cylinders and Spheres

The progression of these renders are from exercises in building 3D images in the Anim9or program. Basically, parts of a structure can be created and then assembled in a "stuck on" fashion. But, more correctly objects-(like the airplane) should be constructed with the main elements (struts, landing gear, tail section) extruded from the main body- thus creating a uni-body that will behave as directed in the animation process. (take off, roll, pitch, yaw as well as pilot movement within the structure) Lots of work and also lots of fun as the static objects become live animated props and characters in animations sequences.
